Houston, TX (October 28, 2020) – One man lost his life following a crash in the Houston area on Tuesday morning. At approximately 1:15 a.m., on October 27, the Houston Police Department and firefighters were requested to the site of a vehicle crash on Mykawa Road.
Reports provided by the police show that a cement truck was traveling on Madden Lane. As the vehicle entered the intersection to make a left turn onto Mykawa Road, it collided with a Toyota Avalon.
The driver of the Toyota sustained fatal injuries in the crash. HPD officers responding to the scene located the deceased driver in their vehicle. They were pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver of the cement truck was not injured in the collision. The driver remained at the scene and spoke to law enforcement following the crash. At this time, investigations surrounding the cause of the incident are underway.
