Houston, TX (October 30, 2020) – Emergency crews were called to the scene of a crash late Wednesday evening that left one man seriously injured in the Houston area. At around 10 p.m., on October 28, the police in Houston responded to an auto accident on Katy Freeway.
According to local news reports, a man was driving a Dodge Charger near the 13922 block of the frontage road for Katy Freeway when he collided with an 18-wheeler as it was pulling out of a driveway.
As a result of the crash, the Charger went under the semi-truck, pinning the driver inside. The driver sustained critical injuries in the crash. Crews dispatched Life Flight to the scene to transport the injured man to an area hospital for treatment.
No one else was injured in this accident. At this time, investigations surrounding the crash are underway.
