(December 31, 2020) – A massive motor vehicle accident in the Van Horn area resulted in severe delays in traffic on Wednesday evening. On December 30, the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the scene of a major motor vehicle accident on Interstate 10.
Reports provided by local authorities show that a total of two semi-trucks and five other vehicles, including a pickup truck towing a trailer and a small white sedan, collided along the interstate as a result of icy conditions.
The crash caused significant delays throughout the area as crews worked to remove all of the damaged vehicles from the interstate.
Medical personnel responded to the scene of the accident to treat victims who were injured. Several ambulances were called to the scene to transport injured victims to local hospitals for further medical attention.
