Houston, TX (January 1, 2021) – One person sustained fatal injuries as a result of a motor vehicle accident on Wednesday evening in Harris County. On December 30, the Houston Police Department was requested to assist at the scene of a crash on South Loop.
Reports from authorities show that two vehicles were involved in a collision, at around 7:30 p.m., on South Loop at the intersection with South Main Street. During the incident, one of the involved vehicles struck a nearby pedestrian.
The pedestrian sustained severe injuries as a result of the incident. The victim was rendered aid at the scene of the accident and transported to a local hospital where they later succumbed to their injuries. At this time, the police in Houston are investigating the accident.
