Houston, TX (September 13, 2021) - A major traffic accident involving a Harris County Precinct 4 deputy constable resulted in injuries on the evening of Friday, September 10. Among the injured was a 12-year-old who was ejected from a vehicle in the accident that took place in northwest Houston.
Reports from authorities in Houston reveal that four people were injured in the collision. It happened in the 13000 block of Veterans Memorial near Bammel North Houston Road at approximately 9:00 p.m. on the evening of September 10.
According to information from the reports, the deputy constable was traveling south on Veterans Memorial in response to a call concerning an officer in need of assistance. The cruiser’s sirens and lights were both activated when a vehicle pulled into its path.
The police cruiser collided with the vehicle, causing three other cars to become involved in the impact. Three people inside the car that initially pulled out in front of the cruiser sustained serious injuries, including the 12-year-old child. All three were transported to an area medical center for treatment.
The deputy constable was treated by paramedics on-site for minor injuries. Currently, the conditions of the injured victims who were hospitalized have not been reported.
