Houston, TX (February 16, 2021) - Officers with the Houston Police Department were requested at the scene of an injury crash that took place on the Northwest side of Houston on February 14. Sources indicate that the incident occurred on the 290 Freeway North West near Bingle Road.
Officials state that the collision happened in the outbound lanes of the 290 Freeway for reasons that are still under investigation. Paramedics were dispatched to the crash scene at approximately 9:00 p.m. in order to render aid to those involved.
According to reports, at least one individual sustained injuries in the accident. They were rendered emergency aid at the scene before being transported to a local area hospital for further medical attention.
Three lanes and a right shoulder on the 290 Freeway were blocked while authorities and paramedics worked to clear the area. Investigations into the details of the incident will be carried out by local police.
