Houston, TX (October 14, 2020) – An automobile accident that took place on Monday evening in Harris County claimed the life of one teenaged driver. Just before 5:30 p.m., on October 12, police officers in Houston responded to the scene of an accident on Brittmoore Road.
Reports provided by the Houston Police Department show that a 17-year-old boy was traveling throughout the 1500 block of Brittmoore Road, in a four-door sedan, when his vehicle collided with a semi-truck near an intersection. The impact of the crash caused severe damage to the sedan as it pushed the vehicle off the road.
The front-ends of both vehicles came to rest on the sidewalk, leaving half of each vehicle hanging out into the roadway.
The teen driver was fatally injured in the accident. Authorities responding to the site of the collision pronounced the victim deceased. No details surrounding the condition of the semi-truck driver are available at this time. A third vehicle was also involved in the crash. However, information regarding the vehicle and the driver’s condition is limited. The police in Houston are currently investigating the accident.
