IDEA Public School Announcement: New Advisory Board of Directors Appointments

We are so excited to share that Attorney Alyssa Romero has been appointed to the advisory board of directors for IDEA Public Schools in Rio Grande Valley. IDEA shared this appointment (along with the appointment of Bobby Saenz, founder, and CEO of Wing Barn, LLC) last week via a news release.

In the release, Romero shares how excited she is to be a part of such important work: “I look forward to my new role as a board member for IDEA and helping to play a part in continuing advancing and prioritizing higher education in the Rio Grande Valley.”

About IDEA Public Schools

IDEA is a national charter with 137 schools in Texas, Florida, and Southern Louisiana, serving over 70,000 students. Considered the fastest-growing network of tuition-free, Pre-K-12 public charter schools in the U.S., they believe that every child can go to college with the right educational support.

With their unique curriculum, IDEA supports students regardless of their skin color, economic status, or where they live because a key part of their mission is to close the opportunity gap and ensure equity for their students.
