Port Arthur, TX (May 20, 2021) - A six-year-old girl was seriously injured when she was hit by a car on Tuesday, May 18th in Jefferson County.
The accident took place at about 7:00 p.m. in the 2000 block of 17th Street in Port Arthur.
Upon their arrival, officers found that the young girl had sustained life-threatening injuries during the impact. She was transported via ambulance to a hospital in Houston.
This incident is being reviewed by Port Arthur PD’s Advanced Accident Reconstruction Team.
