San Antonio, TX (July 13, 2021) - A driver was arrested and a 36-year-old woman was hospitalized after a hit-and-run accident on Monday, July 12th in San Antonio.
The crash took place at about 10:30 p.m. in the 640 block of South W.W. White Road, in the area of East Houston Street.
According to sources, a woman was standing outside her disabled 2014 Nissan Altima when a sedan hit the back of her vehicle and then her, dragging her down the road before she finally fell to the asphalt.
The driver of the sedan fled the scene.
The woman sustained multiple injuries and was transported by paramedics to Brooke Army Medical Center. She is now in stable condition.
Later that night, the driver of the sedan went to the East Patrol police substation and reported the incident. They were arrested and charged with failure to stop and render aid.
