Houston, TX (February 21, 2021) - A fatal auto accident took place on a roadway in Houston this past Saturday, February 20. At approximately 11:00 a.m., emergency units were sent to the site of a crash on Almeda Road.
According to officials, the incident occurred on Almeda Road in the 110000 block near West Airport Boulevard. Vehicular Crimes investigators along with EMTs and fire crews were sent to the scene shortly after the wreck occurred.
They found that one driver had lost their life due to the accident. They were pronounced deceased at the scene. Patients in need of medical treatment were rendered aid before being transported to local medical centers for further treatment.
The names of those involved have not been disclosed to the public at this time.
The area of the roadway where the wreck happened was closed while emergency workers were present. An investigation into the details of the incident will be carried out.
