Houston, TX (August 17, 2021) - An 89-year-old man was hit by a vehicle and killed early Tuesday, August 17.
The fatal auto-pedestrian accident happened just after midnight in the 7700 block of Braniff Road near Telephone Road. The man was traveling by foot along the roadway when a passing driver struck him.
The man suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver stayed at the crash site and cooperated with officials, according to information from reports.
Authorities in Houston continue to investigate.
