Harris Co, TX (August 12, 2021) - Authorities said that a woman was killed on Thursday, August 12th when her vehicle and a tractor-trailer collided on a highway in northwest Harris County.
The accident took place at about 12:15 a.m. at the intersection of US-290 and North Eldridge Parkway.
According to the sheriff’s office, the operator of a black Lexus was driving behind a tractor-trailer when the vehicles collided.
The victim was airlifted by Life Flight to an area trauma center where a physician pronounced her dead. Her identity has not been released pending notification of next of kin.
The case remains open and under investigation by the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Vehicular Crimes Division.
