Houston, TX (April 6, 2021) - A deadly pedestrian-involved traffic accident took the life of one individual on the morning of April 5 in northwest Houston. At around 5:30 a.m., police and paramedics were requested to assist at the scene of the collision located on the North Freeway.
According to reports concerning the crash, it occurred on the North Freeway near East North Hill Drive for currently unspecified reasons. A man was attempting to cross at the exit lane of East North Hill when he was struck and killed by a vehicle.
The southbound lanes of the Freeway were shut down for several hours after the incident took place in order to allow responders to investigate. The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities. No one involved has been identified to the public at this time.
Police in Houston continue to investigate.
