Houston, TX (September 30, 2020) – A motor vehicle accident in the Houston area left one person injured on Sunday, according to police. At approximately 1:55 p.m., on September 27, the Harris County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene of a crash on Cypress Creek Parkway.
Reports from authorities show that a black 2014 Honda was traveling down the 2600 block of Cypress Creek Parkway when the driver decided to change lanes. As the driver merged into the left lane of the road, their vehicle collided with the passenger side of a white 2007 Dodge.
The two occupants of the Honda, a 25-year-old female, and a 3-year-old male, were uninjured in the crash.
The 18-year-old male driver of the Dodge was uninjured. However, the 19-year-old front-seat passenger sustained injuries in the crash. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment of injuries immediately following the crash.
Both vehicles were towed away from the scene. Police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
