Guerra & Farah, PLLC Serves Texas Residents
Based in Houston with satellite offices in El Paso and McAllen, Texas,
the lawyers of Guerra & Farah, PLLC, are first and foremost trial
lawyers. With extensive courtroom experience and an aggressive approach
designed to protect your rights and legal interests, we handle a wide
range of cases for our clients, including
personal injury and
employment law. Among the qualities and qualifications that our clients most often tell
us they appreciate are our knowledge, background and experience; the fact
we are local and understand the people and the local legal system; and
the close, personal attention we give to each and every client.
Our Knowledge, Background and Experience
We have a broad range of trial experience. One reason we are successful
is the diverse backgrounds of our lawyers. One of our partners,
Juan L. Guerra Jr.
, has a criminal defense background. He is certified to administer field
sobriety tests, which is useful when defending against
DWI charges. He also has extensive trial experience in state and federal courts. In
2014, Attorney Guerra was selected for inclusion in the
Texas Super Lawyers®
list. This is no small accomplishment, as only up to 5% of Texas lawyers
are chosen each year.
Our other partner,
George K. Farah
, has significant trial experience and a background in insurance defense,
which gives him a great advantage when representing injured accident victims
and their families in personal injury and
wrongful death claims. Our attorneys take a collaborative approach, which provides clients
with the full benefit of our combined knowledge and experience as well
as a diversity of legal perspectives on the situation.
When you retain our law firm, one of our partners will personally handle
your matter from start to finish. When our attorneys go to court, they
know every aspect of your case, which we believe is one of the major reasons
for our past success.
What do our skills mean to you?
Our experience, knowledge and background mean that you can rely on the
up-to-date accuracy of the information we provide to you about the law
and the legal process. In addition, the advice you receive is based on
extensive experience and knowledge, often from handling cases similar
to yours. You need accurate information and sound advice to make an informed
decision, especially regarding any offers for an out-of-court settlement
or a plea bargain. We believe that our track record of success, our reputation
for excellence, our preparation for trial and our aggressive approach
all lead to better settlement offers and plea agreements for our clients.
Opposing attorneys who know us know that we will be ready for trial.
Our Personal Service and Commitment
We intentionally limit the number of cases we accept at any given time.
If we feel we do not have the time and resources to give your matter the
attention it deserves, we will not accept your case, although we can give
you a referral. We understand the importance of your legal matter and
are committed to obtaining the most favorable result possible. If we accept
you as a client, you can rest assured that your matter will be in capable
hands and you will receive the quality representation you deserve. We
are straight shooters and will not sugarcoat the truth - we do not want
to set false expectations. Instead, we want to help you to make decisions
about your case from a position of knowledge and understanding.
We take the time to listen to clients' concerns and explain the legal
process. We encourage questions and will answer based on our experience.
We also can provide you with guidance and counsel throughout the process
of handling your case - and often beyond. We have many repeat clients.
